Week’s really goes by quickly when one is busy. I decided to do a week in review when it comes to the bentos images. Monday’s bento was left over Karaage from the weekend. Karaage is Japanese Fried Chicken pieces, super easy to make. Marinated the chicken in soy sauce, ginger and sake. I let it sit and marinate for 30 minutes to an hour before coating them in potato starch (katakuriko). Once coated then fry. Simple eh?
Tuesday was left over chicken wings, which was marinated for the about 8 hours. The basic ingredients for the marinate is as follows ketchup, pineapple juice and sugar. Will post the recipe in the coming days.
Wednesday’s bento was all the wife’s doing.
Not sure what Thrusday’s lunch was called but it did taste really good.
Friday was my herb and butter chicken. Which was great and will post the recipe for it next time.
