Was looking forward to a relaxing weekend and a nice cool breeze blowing through the house for the start of Obon Festival. None of those things happened.
First, Japan made new records on Saturday with an average temperature of 40 degrees country wide. The motorcycle was showing a temperature of 49 degrees of rising in the the Tokyo traffic jam, which somewhat worried me. If I didn’t have to do so much driving on Saturday, could have taken the train and avoided the hot seat on the bike. Saturday, was the exhibition opening party for one of the artists I am promoting. Left the party early as I had to pick up a rental car for the evening to pick up a friend from the airport. By the time I got home it was around 0230 in the morning.
If you been following me, and noticed in the photo that I am only showing the wife’s bento. This is because the little one will be home all week as it being Obon. If you don’t see many updates this week just check back next week when thing should be back to normal.
