I did a post a few weeks back saying that was the last Hanabi of 2013, well I was wrong. The Last Hanabi of 2013 took place on Friday at my son’s daycare. We waited until the children’s parents to arrive and then everyone went to the field in front of the daycare to light the sparklers. When the last sparkler went out, all the kids thanked the headmaster since he bought the sparklers. The event was a hit with parents and children as everyone enjoyed themselves.
This morning’s Bento is nothing special as the wife got up late, which is normal after a busy week. I knew this might happen so I washed the rice and set the rice cooker to finish by the time the wife got up. I am happy to so these small things as it makes her morning easier.
