Well it’s Monday Morning already and it seems that the wife is full of energy. Her bento looks great and if you are wondering what she has on the rice. Well it’s called Konbu (昆布, kombu).

Konbu is just edible kelp. This version has been pickled and it has a sweet and sour taste. They say it’s good for you. It is a good source of glutamic acid and it also contains iodine so it cannot be that bad for you.
