As a kid growing up mine parents would cook Okra and I would hate it. Even to this day I really don’t eat it. I understand it’s good for you and all of that, but really it’s just too slimy for me. Well it seems that my wife also grew up eating it, but the strange thing is that she likes it. (maybe this is why she gets along with my parents so well.)
Well it seems that she is trying to get our son to like Okra from a young age. This is going to be interesting as I wonder which side he will be on, the one that likes or the one that dislikes. She is good, as she wrapped the okra in egg and we both know he loves eggs. I guess we will have to wait until the evening to see if her trick worked.
