Well it’s another hot day over here in Japan I think it’s going to be around 35 degrees, which is nuts. I really need to get an air conditioner unit this year as it’s just too damn hot and not enough breeze to cool down the place.

As for today’s bento, not much going on as most things are from the day before. The two new things were the mixture of Egg’s and Carrots and the fried pea’s. It might sound a bit strange but Fried Carrots with Eggs does work. I will have to get the recipe for everyone. (Mental note: make section for recipes for everyone reading the site.)

The pea’s were given to us by our next door neighbor, as they rent a small piece of land to grow their own vegetables. This is common in Japan as most people in the city and suburbs do not have enough land to plant anything, let alone walk around their house. We are kind of lucky as we have a small piece of land where I grow Tomato’s and other vegetables.

If you are wondering why there are fish bones on the cutting board, it’s because the wife took it in her bento. It was a Salmon and Tomato dinner I made two nights ago, and it was gooooooooood.
